For the first time in three months, an RTW 5K did not set a record for total number of finishers. Today's total of 31 was well below the high mark of 43 in race #15.

Photography 101: the "official RTW photographer" managed to obscure part of today's photo with his thumb. As to why another photo wasn't used, there aren't any others. After the first - and only - shot was taken, the batteries in the "official RTW digital camera" decided to call it quits.

A reminder that the RTW 5K's are run on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. The next race is scheduled for Saturday, September 9th. Entry fee is $1.00 (that's one dollar).

Conditions: clear; low-80's; very humid.
