Even with an entry fee of just $1.00, the twenty-four races held during 2000 turned a small profit. That profit was used to fund a random draw of two pairs of Reebok Sky DMX's. Winners were first-place finisher, and RTW regular, John Sullivan of The Woodlands and Barry Wilson of Houston.

There was quite a bit of complaining prior to the race about the "cold temperature" - upper 40's for the 8:00AM start.

A reminder that the RTW 5K's are run on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. The first race of 2001 is scheduled for Saturday, January 13th. Entry fee is $1.00 (that's one dollar).
