Jim Skophammer/BAUR 12-Hour Track Run

San Mateo, CA, July 20, 2002

Results courtesy of the Jim Skophammer/BAUR 12-Hour Track Run

It was a tremendous day--great weather (except for a lot of wind) and many
amazing performances, including four pending age-group
world records and seven other pending age group
American records. We had what we believe is the largest
group of 70+ runners for a US (perhaps world) ultra
track run. In addition, overall winner Tom Greene
broke the men's race record by over a mile, and women's
winner Wendy Georges ran the third-best women's all
time mark for the race, eclipsing last year's male
winning distance while doing so.
