The 12th annual Memorial Mile was run in perfect conditions.  Local standout, Matt Folk added his name to the winner list as he took the top prize money spot by running 4:10.  Rick Williamson was second in 4:16 with PUMA/Team Jock Stop's Mark Prejsnar taking third.  Mount Union's Joe Eby was fourth and A.J. Crisuncci rounded out the top five money spots.  Jim Weilhelm finished one second ahead of Rich Hill to take the top master's money spot.  Grand Master Ron Legg ran an impressive 4:57 to take that money spot.
On the Women's side, Olympic marathon trials runner Debbie Kilpatrick showed she has great leg speed as she out distanced the field by running 4:53.  Jill Morrill took second.  Local runner Wilma DePorie was third.  PUMA/Team Jock Stop's Susan Borawski and Sheri Liebschner rounded out the top five.  PUMA/Team Jock Stop also master's women also showed their fitness as they took the top two money spots. Carolyn DeChristofaro took the grand master's top spot.
This year's race was sponsored by the Jock Stop, the DeBartalo Corporation, Armstrong Cable, Astre Fitness and PUMA.
