Don't let the times of
most of these folks fool you; they are f-a-s-t runners. Running an extra
1-2 miles on a 4 mile course will tend to get you some slower times though.
I imagine we'll start seeing some new names and faces at the top of the finish
board over the next few weeks. We ended up not having the team thing, but
instead adjusted for age on solo runners over 30. In the age-adjusted
category Karen Scozzari burned through the course in 31:16 for the win, and Jay
Selva did the same for the mature gents at 25:51. In the open class it was
Erin Trumble at 29:46 (another PR!), and Art Sherry who was too modest to have
his time posted..... The prizes will be handed out next Thursday at the
Thomas Street Tavern.
