Running off the Turkey
CARIBOU - Forty-eight runners braved subzero windchills icy footing and 
a passing snow squall at the 22nd annual Cary Medical Center Turkey Trot 5K Road Race 
held at Caribou High School  on Saturday Nov. 24.Kirby Davis of Fort Kent led the men 
with a 15:58 finish ahead of Thomas Beckum of Caribou 17:32 and Jeff Ashby of 
Fort Fairfield 18:33. On the women's side Rose Prest-Morrison of Limerick 21:10 
edged Angela Ewingss of Littleton 21: II. Merrily Welch of Temple finished third in 21:56.
Age division winners were Ben Morrison 18:39 and Kaysie Pelletier 29:13 in the under 19, 
Beckun and Brandi Helstrom 23:40 in the 19 to 39 division and Ashby and Ewings in the Masters.
