Ninety-four degree temperature did not deter the 84 runners
who raced down Montcalm Street before the start of Ticonderoga's
4th of July parade. The overall winner of the men's division was
Rick Bush from Clifton Park, in a tine of 4:09. Jay Wells, from
Ticonderoga, followed in 4:10. Third overall was Matt Drowne from
Plattsburgh, in a time of 4:34. Jeff Greer, from Ticonderoga,
followed in 4:40, and Jesse Berube, from Putnam, came in next
in a time of 4:45. The overall female winner was Dana Ostrander,
from Ballston Lake, in a time of 4:47. Karin Erickson, from Saranac
Lake was second overall in a time of 4:55, Christine Sheridan,
from Burnt Hills, followed in a time of 5:57. She was followed
by Katilin Pote, from Ticonderoga, in a time of 6:17, and Vanessa
Stacy, from Avon, Ct, in a time of 6:30.
